Based on a report from the FBI, Hate Crimes were on the rise in 2019. There was an increase of over 70% from 2018-2019 creating the fourth consecutive increase in the last five years as reported in November. With over 200 reported hate crimes in 2019, the latter became the highest reported number in over two decades.
